About Rufus
The beagle, the bit, the bad intentions.
Evil Beagle is built around a very specific daily ritual: ask the AI for one new cartoon about Rufus, a tri-colored beagle with grand ambitions and extremely petty follow-through.
It started with a stolen sock and a glare that could melt steel. Rufus wasn't born evil. He was simply born with a higher intellectual capacity for mischief than any beagle in recorded history.

The daily cartoon
The site stores one cartoon per day, keeps the image in S3, and serves the day's canonical scheme from the database.
The palette
The interface borrows directly from a tri-colored beagle: dark saddle black, warm tan, and bright cream.
The audience
Anyone willing to rate mischief on a bone scale and argue over whether today's cartoon belongs in the archive top tier.
